President – Alex Wheeler

Responsible for representing the Association; ensuring the smooth operation of the Executive and Directors; ensuring that all members complete their duties; nominating for a representative position on the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Business and Law; and contributing at least one article to Justitia during their term.

Responsible for actively representing the Association’s interests to ALSA; representing the Association’s educational interests; acting on behalf of the President when the President so nominates; ensuring that an up-to-date elective guide is available to students; supporting and reporting the activities of the Director of Information Technology and all student representatives; and contributing at least one article to Justitia during their term.

Vice President (Education) – Clare Griffis

Responsible for actively representing the Association’s interests to ALSA; organising activities to promote awareness of educational issues among members; representing educational interests and concerns law students to the Newcastle Law School and the UoN; supporting and reporting the activities of the Director of Competitions (Skills), Director of Competitions (Advocacy), Director of Careers (Events) and Director of Careers (Publications); and contributing at least one article to Justitia during their term.

Responsible for organising and advertising a range of social activities; complying with all sponsorship and Clubs and Societies Council obligations; encouraging participation in social activities; supporting and reporting the activities of the Director of Social Justice (Equity & Diversity) and Director of Sport & Recreation; and contributing at least one article to Justitia during their term.

Vice President (Finance & Marketing) – Daniel Bullock

Responsible for managing funds; maintaining accounts and books showing accurately the financial affairs of the Association; preparing an annual summary of financial affairs; cooperating with the Director of Marketing in relation to sponsorship and other financial issues; supporting and reporting the activities of the Director of Sponsorship, Director of Marketing & Design and Director of Student Publications; and contributing at least one article to Justitia during their term.
