Congratulations to the cast and crew of the inaugural Newcastle Law Revue!
Two sold-out shows on
Friday 12th August and Saturday 13th August
Civic Playhouse, Newcastle
A night packed with skits, cutting-edge humour, and jokes and the expense of anyone and everyone.
Time magazine is quoted as saying “… More interesting than facebook on a Thursday morning… 5 stars.”
VOGUE magazine called it “A revolution in satire.”
David Stratton was even seen guffawing (or something like it) at one point during the show but later denied it.
For a little taste (more can be found here)…

What’s that I hear you say?
You don’t know what a law revue is? Whoa! How embarrassing, but it’s OK… You’re not the only one. I’ll tell you what the law revue is. It’s a drama production put on by law students for law students. Think Broadway and Glee joining forces with us Newcastle Uni students.
The end result is a show which celebrates and pokes fun at the law, the study of law, University life, Newcastle, law, parking, people, law and completely random stuff like hipsters, law and Sauron.
*Disclaimer* – for those people who shuddered at the mention of GLEE, fear not, the Newcastle Law Revue will be better and totally not as lame.
