Hall & Wilcox sponsored the UNLSA to run a charity trivia night supporting the Grow a Star program, which helps disadvantaged youth achieve their full potential. The trivia night had a strong turnout, and was a hit with students and Hall & Wilcox staff alike.

Caroll & O'Dea Lawyers sponsored the UNLSA team in the annual law vs medicine football game. The UNLSA put in a strong performance, dressed in the new jerseys provided by Caroll & O'Dea, to give the medicine students a run for their money.

Allens, Ashurst, Clayton Utz, and Herbert Smith Freehills sponsored the annual UNLSA penultimate students train trip. At each firm students spoke with lawyers, graduates, and HR representatives to understand what a typical day at that firm looked like. The penultimate trip is also a great way for firms market themselves to future University of Newcastle graduates.

A number of law firms all sponsored the UNLSA annual careers expo. Students and firms were able to network and discuss the various fields that are available to new lawyers.
